QuantWare is seeking a 3D Packaging Engineer to join their team in Delft, where you will work on modifying and calibrating high-precision assembly equipment. This role involves developing placement and bonding processes, testing adhesives and solders for extreme conditions, and executing complex 3D integration strategies.

What you will do

Modify and calibrate high-precision assembly equipment
Develop and refine placement and bonding processes
Test adhesives, glues, and solders for extreme conditions
Execute complex 3D integration strategies

What you bring

BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Materials Science, or related field
3–5 years hands-on experience with semiconductor assembly platforms
Achieving tight placement tolerances around 1µm in R&D or pilot production
Understanding of 3D integration and material behavior under thermal stress, vacuum, or cryogenic conditions
