About the job

Quantware is seeking a Laboratory Operations & Safety Officer to coordinate laboratory and cleanroom operations in Delft. You will manage procurement, inventory, equipment calibration, and safety programmes while supporting the EHS management system.

What you will do

  • Develop, implement, and improve laboratory and cleanroom operational procedures, work instructions, documentation, and support processes
  • Develop and implement safe working procedures for laboratory and cleanroom activities, including handling hazardous chemicals, specialty gases, and emergency response

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or relevant technical discipline
  • 5+ years experience in Cleanroom facilities Operations, EHS, QHSE, Laboratory Operations, or similar technical environment
  • Experience developing and implementing laboratory or cleanroom operational procedures and work instructions
  • Experience conducting or coordinating RI&E, risk assessments, workplace inspections, and incident investigations
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety, hazardous chemicals, specialty gases, Safety Data Sheets, chemical compatibility, and applicable EHS legislation
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

  • Experience working in a semiconductor, high-tech, or cleanroom environment
  • Experience supporting audits, regulatory inspections, and continuous improvement in a highly regulated environment
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proactive, hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
  • Passion for building scalable processes
