Quantware is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join their team in Delft. In this role, you will lead equipment qualification and process transfer activities, bridging the gap between R&D and high-volume manufacturing. You will work in a hybrid setup, combining cleanroom work with flexible office hours.

What you will do

Lead or co-lead Site Acceptance Testing for incoming process tools
Create SAT criteria and negotiate test conditions
Execute qualification wafer runs and generate SAT reports
Manage tool installation timelines
Coordinate vendor support during tool bring-up
Own end-to-end transfer of process modules from R&D to kilofab

What you bring

MSc or PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field
5-7 years of hands-on cleanroom process engineering experience in semiconductor fab or advanced materials fabrication
Experience with at least two core process modules (PVD, CVD, ALD, dry/wet etching, evaporation, dicing, track or laser/e-beam writing)
Experience executing or supporting equipment qualification or SAT activities
Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (JMP, Minitab, Python/R for DOE and SPC analysis)
Ability to work in Class 100/ISO 5 cleanroom environment

Nice to have

Experience in superconducting qubit fabrication or cryogenic device processing
Familiarity with cryogenic material constraints
