About the job
Quantware is seeking a Senior RF engineer to drive the lifecycle of flex interconnect systems from concept to manufacturing. Based in Delft, the role focuses on optimizing RF performance and mechanical reliability while managing external vendors and leading a team.
What you will do
- Drive flex interconnect system lifecycle from concept to manufacturing
- Optimize RF performance and mechanical reliability
- Manage external vendors and suppliers
- Own supplier development schedules and timelines
- Lead and mentor engineering team
What you bring
- 4+ years hands-on RF engineering or high-frequency interconnect design
- Experience with RF simulation software (HFSS, CST, ADS or equivalent)
- Experience with RF measurement equipment (VNAs, Spectrum Analysers, TDR)
- Proven track record leading hardware projects from concept to production
- Direct experience managing external vendors or component suppliers
- Cross-functional leadership and communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience designing hardware for superconducting circuits and cryogenic environments
