About the job

Innatera is looking for a Linux System Engineer to join their team in Rijswijk. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for maintaining and automating Linux compute environments, as well as supporting CI/CD pipelines and distributed storage.

What you will do

Set up and maintain Linux compute servers and desktops
Automate OS deployment and configuration management
Integrate and enhance GitLab CI/CD pipelines
Architect and optimize Ceph distributed storage
Maintain technical documentation
Assist with datacenter operations

What you bring

5+ years managing on-prem Linux compute environments
Experience with automated provisioning and configuration management
Proficiency in GitLab CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of virtualized environments and distributed storage
Troubleshooting and performance tuning of Linux distributions
Experience managing end-user Linux systems and hardware lifecycle

Nice to have

Knowledge of chip design tool installations
Experience with NIS2 security standard
