About the job

Clera is seeking a founding engineer to redesign and scale its agentic system into production infrastructure. You will own work end to end across backend, infrastructure, frontend, and agent layers, setting the technical stack and engineering bar.

What you will do

Redesign and scale agentic system into production infrastructure
Design and operate agent runtime covering orchestration, memory, verification, and reliability
Own work end to end across backend, infrastructure, frontend, and agent layers
Set technical stack, engineering bar, and team norms
Ship to real business customers on a weekly cadence

What you bring

At least 2 years shipping production software or equivalent record as founder or solo builder
Experience building and running LLM or AI agent systems in production
Full-stack range: backend, infrastructure, and UI
Proven ability to turn prototype into infrastructure handling real load
Track record of owning technical decisions without engineering hierarchy above
Based in Europe and open to relocating to San Francisco within first year

Nice to have

Experience with agent orchestration, agent memory, evals, verification systems, or multi-agent workflows
Familiarity with recruiting, agency, or service-delivery businesses
Strong CS fundamentals from university or engineering environment
