Mozilla is looking for a Staff Data Scientist to lead the data science partnership for its ads business. In this role, you will own complex analytical problems from framing to recommendation and follow-through, working across product, engineering, sales, finance, and senior leadership.

What you will do

Lead data science partnership for ads business across product, engineering, sales, finance, and senior leadership
Own complex analytical problems from framing to recommendation and follow-through
Develop measurement frameworks for new advertising products including metrics, experimentation, and reporting
Analyze advertising revenue and performance to inform product and business decisions
Translate complex findings into clear recommendations for technical and executive audiences

What you bring

8+ years experience in data science or analytics with ownership of complex business-critical work
Experience with digital advertising or related monetization business
Strong technical foundation in Python and SQL with statistical, experimental, and forecasting methods
Ability to independently frame ambiguous problems and drive work to clear recommendations
Excellent analytical judgment balancing rigor with pragmatism and communicating uncertainty
Proven ability to build trusted relationships and communicate findings to diverse audiences
