Clera is looking for a Head of Compliance to own the BSA/AML program and lead the compliance team. In this remote role, you will make critical decisions on risk and regulatory matters while supporting business growth.

Serve as BSA/AML Officer and own compliance policies and risk model
Make final decisions on escalated onboarding, wallet screening, transaction monitoring, and SAR cases
Identify practical controls for risk while supporting growth
Lead and mentor compliance analysts
Represent compliance in bank and partner due diligence and audits
Oversee analyst workflows and AI-assisted systems

Wat je meebrengt

Three to twelve years of relevant experience
Leadership of a compliance team and ownership of a compliance program at a fintech, payments, or digital-asset business
Experience at the intersection of compliance and crypto across the Americas
Strong BSA/AML experience including policy development, risk modeling, SAR filings, regulatory reporting, onboarding, wallet screening, and transaction monitoring
Knowledge of US-Latin America cross-border trade and trade-based money laundering risks
Experience coordinating audits and due diligence with banks or payment partners
