Clera is looking for a founding engineer to join their fully remote team. You will work on AI-assisted document review and diligence workflows, building and shipping features across the full stack.

Talk with customers and translate their needs into product improvements
Design, build, and ship features across customer, analyst, and expert reviewer experience
Develop and operate platform for AI-assisted document review and diligence workflows
Build systems for customer data isolation, access control, and auditability
Ensure extracted claims are grounded in source documents and route unsupported questions to expert reviewers
Use measurable experiments to evaluate changes, monitor accuracy, and address regressions

Wat je meebrengt

Two or more years of experience
Startup experience as a founding engineer or early team member
Full-stack engineering experience across frontend and backend
Experience with agent architectures or LLM-powered workflows
Experience building document processing, retrieval, or extraction systems
Ability to work in North American time zones

Mooi meegenomen

Familiarity with Rails, React, Postgres, or Elasticsearch
Background in fintech, legaltech, proptech, or energy and infrastructure
