About the job

Quantware is looking for a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer to take ownership of advanced equipment in a fast-paced startup environment. In this hybrid role based in Delft, you will lead installations, drive maintenance, and support the cleanroom and nanofab line.

What you will do

Lead end-to-end installations with OEMs including planning, FAT/SAT, and IQ/OQ
Own preventive maintenance: define, perform, and optimize PM schedules, spares, and documentation
Drive corrective maintenance: troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and reporting
Support commissioning of cleanroom and nanofab line
Work with Process Engineering on equipment-process alignment
Own facilities interfaces: gas, vacuum, cryogenic, electrical, cooling water, chemical, exhaust systems

What you bring

Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced equipment
Experience with high-vacuum tools, ideally semiconductor nanofabrication equipment
Relevant technical degree or equivalent background in instrumentation, electrical engineering, or mechatronics
Systematic problem solver with planning and coordination skills
Comfortable working under time pressure in a startup environment
Self-driven, team-oriented, able to operate with minimal oversight and high ownership

Nice to have

Familiarity with cryogenic or dilution refrigerator systems
