Director, Customer Success, EMEA

GitLab is looking for a Director of Customer Success for the EMEA region. This role sets the regional customer-success strategy and leads the CSMA and CSE teams as one integrated organization. You will drive adoption, outcomes, and platform value while owning operational excellence and business performance.

• Lead CSMA and CSE as one integrated organization

• Own operational excellence and business performance
• Build and develop an exceptional team
• Partner across the revenue and product ecosystem

What you bring

• Significant leadership experience in Customer Success or related post-sales function in enterprise SaaS
• Experience leading both customer-facing relationship and technical teams through managers
• Track record of improving adoption, outcomes, retention, and expansion in complex enterprise accounts
• Experience designing or scaling coverage models across dedicated, pooled, digital, or programmatic motions
• Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management, success planning, health and risk management
• Ability to lead technical and business conversations with senior customer stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience with DevSecOps, software development lifecycle, or enterprise technology transformation
• Experience leading adoption of AI, developer productivity, security, or platform capabilities
• Familiarity with Gainsight and Salesforce
• Experience operating in a high-growth, global, all-remote company
• Experience building scaled enablement programs or technical communities
