GitLab is looking for a Staff Solutions Architect with deep expertise in AI to serve as a technical authority for a product group. In this remote role, you will lead technical deep dives, workshops, and executive briefings, and design proof-of-value templates to support account teams. You will also build reference architectures and enablement content to drive successful product adoption.

What you will do

Act as technical authority for a product group on prioritized opportunities
Lead technical deep dives, workshops, and executive briefings
Design and improve standardized proof-of-value templates
Equip account teams for product launches with demos and talk tracks
Serve as escalation point for complex product questions
Build reference architectures, demos, and enablement content

What you bring

Substantial experience in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, consulting, or software engineering
Deep hands-on expertise in one domain: security, platform, CI/CD, or AI development
Practical expertise in agentic and AI-assisted development workflows
Experience winning technical decisions on large enterprise opportunities
Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, and a major cloud provider
Ability to lead whiteboard sessions and present to executives

Relevant certifications in Kubernetes, cloud architecture, or security
